Octopus have been around some 200 million years, having adapted and mastered many skills insuring it's survival as a species.

Yet, did you know, both the male & female octopus die shortly after mating or giving birth to the next generation.

They have three hearts, two that pump blood to their extremities and one that solely feeds their internal organs. 

Each leg is loaded with sensory receptors which allows one leg to work on a task while others search for food or explore their environment.

Octopus are highly intelligent problem solvers, finding ways to escape or hide effectively.  They can change the color or texture of their skin or mimic shapes to blend with their environment or even imitate the appearance of other fish.
